WCHS in search of new Head Band Director

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Warren Central High School is searching for a new head band director, according to a job posting made by the Vicksburg Warren School District last Thursday.
The position was previously held by Dr. Jace McMullin, who led the program to a number of notable successes during his tenure.

The band was named Overall First Place Grand Champion and also earned awards for Best Music Performance, Best Visuals, Best General Effect, Best Percussion, Best Color Guard, and Large Division First Place.
Beyond marching season, McMullin also guided the 2024-2025 Warren Central Indoor Percussion team to a standout year. Their achievements included a bronze medal at Collierville High School in Tennessee, a bronze at the Mississippi Indoor Association State Championship, finalist honors at the WGI Sport of the Arts Jackson Regional, a gold medal at the WGI Dallas Regional, and a semifinalist placement at the 2025 WGI World Championships, ranking 19th in the world.
