WCJHS crushed Clinton on Monday; Freshmen boys took a loss

Vicksburg, Ms-Warren Central Junior High School boys’ basketball team crushed Clinton Junior High 52-28 on Monday.

Cameron Zellous led with 16 points while Jarrad Williams, Jordan Younger, and Jordan Taylor all scored six points each. Henry Trisby added eight points while Ja’Ven Lee and Doss Morgan both scored four points and Hamilton added two points.

Ninth Grade Boys:

The WC ninth-grade boys took a 55-39 loss to Clinton. Jaylen DeFrance led with 11 points and Jamal Washington put up eight. Landon Burks scored six points and Jordan Pugh came away with four. Mar’Taveon Sims added seven points and Trystan Fuller scored two points and Kamryn Bailey hit a free throw.

The Freshmen team will play at Vicksburg High on Thursday.
