WCJHS Lady Vikes and boy’s basketball team defeated Pearl

Warren Central Junior High School boy’s basketball team defeated Pearl 41-36 on Thursday.

Martaveon Sims led the Vikings with 11 points while Jaylen DeFrance added nine on the board. Ja’Von Lee scored seven in the win while Jamal Washington and Logan Evans put up four along with Xavier Jackson who scored three and Landon Burks added two.

Lady Vikes:

The Lady Vikes won 27-19 over the Pirates as Keasia Williams led with 11 points and Ballet Duty finished with eight in the win. Lundyn added four points while Samyria Fields and Kayla Parson both scored two points. They are led by Head Coach LaToya Lumpkin.

The Vikings will travel to face Madison Central on Monday.
