Adria Burrell, WC Track & Field Star, Lands First Scholarship Offers

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Vicksburg native and Warren Central track and field star, Adria Burrell, recently picked up a few scholarship offers. Burrell, who became WC’s first state champion in six years, received offers from Grambling State University, Hinds Community College, and Coahoma Community College. 

Back in June, Burrell received her first offer to Hinds. She has since received two additional offers from Coahoma and Grambling.

In May 2024, Burrell was shining at the state track meet, coming in first place in the 200m(25.57). She also came in second place in the 100m(12.23). Burrell is also a two-time AAU All-American.

She has not officially committed to any college. The Track & Field star’s senior season begins in a few months.
