Williams heading into third season leading the Vikings

Keith Williams is headed into his third year as the Head Coach of the Warren Central High School boys’ basketball team.
The Vikings are returning multiple key players from last year’s squad, and Williams has confidence in his team, especially when they all return.
“I have some great pieces here especially once those players return from football,” Williams said. “I hope the football team plays for a championship and those players bring the winning ways back into the gym.”
WC went 17-6 over the summer, where players like Gaylon Turner Jr., Ronnie Blossom, Garrett Orgas-Fiaher, Larry Reynolds Jr., Roosevelt Harris Jr., Jaylon Winters and Jonathan Henderson all stepped up in crunch time.
The Vikings missed the 2022-2023 playoffs, but with the dedication and hard work that Williams is instilling in his team, the Vikings will be back to their winning ways in no time.
“Making sure that these guys are disciplined is one of our biggest things and it feels like they bought in over the summer but our biggest enemy is ourselves,” Williams added.
The Vikings will begin their season on November 7, 2023 when they travel to Madison Central.
