Woman Wanted In Domestic Violence Shooting
On Friday, December 29, 2023, officers were dispatched to River Region Medical Center in response to a shooting.
The incident happened at a home in the 1400 block of Jackson Street.
The victim, 44-year-old Robert Wheatley, had received a gunshot wound to his left arm and was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment.
The Vicksburg Police Department is currently looking for 43-year-old Octavia Wheatley of Vicksburg, in connection to this incident.
