Massey and Nelson both hit home runs on Tuesday

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg natives John Wyatt Massey and Ryan Nelson both had another successful day of baseball on Tuesday night. Massey and Nelson hit their second collegiate home runs of the season while leading their teams to wins.

Massey, who plays for Coahoma Community College, helped his team to a 7-1 win over Hinds CC. He hit a home run along with a double as he finished with two RBIs while going 2 for 3 at the plate.

Nelson is shining for East Central Community College as he helped them to a 13-5 win over Jones College yesterday. He finished the game by going 3 for 4 with one RBI and a solo home run.

Massey graduated from Porter’s Chapel Academy, and Nelson graduated from Warren Central. East Central is scheduled to host Kirkwood Community on Saturday.
