Evan Gordon selected to play in the MAIS All-Star Game

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Evan Gordon has been officially selected to play in the MAIS (Midsouth Association of Independent Schools) All-Star baseball game. Porter’s Chapel Academy made the announcement last week over social media that Gordon was selected.

“Porter’s Chapel Academy is proud to announce that senior baseball player Evan Gordon has been selected to represent PCA in the MAIS 2A/3A All-Star Game,” the school said in the post.

Gordon just wrapped up his senior season with the Eagles under Head Coach Rob Riggin. This past season as a junior, Gordon collected 11 hits, 10 RBIs and two triples.

The game will take place at Mississippi College – Frierson Field on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 10 a.m.
