Hale Agency announces Sept. 10 reopening of Clay Street office

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Alfa Insurance-Hale Agency will reopen its office at 1110 Clay St. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, after four months of repairs following a crash that caused significant damage to the building.

On the evening of Sunday, May 12, A green SUV slammed into the Hunt Hale Alfa Insurance office, breaking through the glass and brick entrance. Video showed the driver and passenger climbing out of the wreckage before fleeing the scene on foot.

Relatives of the occupants of the vehicle later told law enforcement that one of the suspects sought hospital treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.

“We are extremely fortunate that no one was located in the office,” said Hunt Hale at the time. “However, the office sustained significant damage and will be closed until the proper repairs can be made to ensure everyone’s safety. We just have to remember that God is with us in the good times and the bad and he will get us through this just like he gets us through so many other things.”

In an announcement made on the insurance agency’s Facebook page, Hale shared his excitement about returning to their office, after moving temporarily to 1980 South Frontage Rd while the repairs were completed.

“We are so excited to be back in our office, and we can’t wait to help with all your insurance needs,” said Hale.
