Midway through the second quarter, Jackson’s running continued to give the Vikings good field position. He soon pushed the lead to 21-6 with a 7-yard touchdown run with 5:40 left in the half.
The Gators answered again when Henderson broke out on a 35-yard run. Daquan Warfield caught a 17-yard pass from Maxey, setting up a 25-yard touchdown pass from Maxey to Marquis Knight to make it 21-12.
Morgan then connected with Blake Caruthers on a 55-yard touchdown pass to set the halftime score at 27-12.
