Three juveniles charged as adults in Vicksburg shooting investigation
VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Three juveniles have been charged as adults in connection with a shooting that occurred March 5 at the intersection of Randolph Street and Locust Street, according to the Vicksburg Police Department.
Police said no injuries were reported in the incident.
Following an investigation, officers identified three juvenile suspects who were later taken into custody. The suspects appeared in court on Friday, March 6, where they were adjudicated and charged as adults.
The suspects were identified as:
- Zion Pierce, 16 — aggravated assault; bond set at $600,000
- Brian Bell, 16 — aggravated assault; bond set at $600,000
- Kaiden Knight, 15 — aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle; bond set at $550,000
Authorities said the case remains under investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
