Vicksburg High Band names 2026-27 section leaders

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg High School band has named its section leaders for the 2026-27 school year.

The list was released over the weekend and includes multiple student leaders across each section of the program.

Section leaders:

• Flute: Briana Hoye
• Clarinet: Amorri Alexander, Destinee McCoy
• Saxophone/Tenor Sax: LaMarcus Igbokwe, Damarcus Neal
• Trumpet: Gavin Ferguson
• Mellophone: Falynn Hunter
• Baritone/Trombone: Jashawn Porter, Willie King
• Tuba: AnJanee Bennett, Cameron Anderson
• Percussion: Braylon Hoye (head), Michael Purdy, Madyson Brown, Ayden Brown, Gabriel Patrick
• Drum major: Aniyah Kelly
