Walker Moore, Michael Moore, Grant Gattle win state tennis titles

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Walker Moore, Michael Moore and Grant Gattle, of St. Aloysius High School, are now state tennis champions. All three officially earned their titles last week at the Ridgeland Tennis Center as the team finished second overall.

Walker Moore won the No. 1 boys singles title, while Michael Moore and Grant Gattle captured the No. 1 boys doubles championship. Walker Moore won his singles match 6-2, 6-1, while the duo secured the doubles title 6-0, 6-1.

Overall, the Flashes won both the South State Championship and the district championship this season under head coach Rick Shields.
