Vicksburg native Elliott Flaggs named to Mississippi Top 100
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg native Elliott Flaggs has been named to the 2026 Class of the Mississippi Top 100. The announcement was made Tuesday night in a Facebook post by the Mississippi Top 100 organization.
Flaggs currently serves as a principal at Cornerstone Government Affairs in Jackson, where he advocates for clients in state and municipal government, business development and public relations. Prior to that role, he worked as a special assistant attorney general and legislative liaison for former Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Flaggs earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering before graduating cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He remains active in the Mississippi Bar Association and several community organizations, including The First Tee of Central Mississippi.
Throughout his career, Flaggs has received multiple honors for leadership and community service, including recognition as one of Mississippi’s Top 50 Most Influential People.
Flaggs now joins a distinguished group of Mississippians recognized for their leadership, innovation and contributions to their industries and communities.
Mississippi Top 100 honors leaders in business, government and culture who made a positive impact on our state in the last year. Additionally, the award ceremony annually recognizes Hall of Fame Inductees for a lifetime of service to the Magnolia State, as well as Rising Stars.
