Vicksburg High trio earns All-MHSAA 5A track and field honors
Amiyah Hall, Zion Knox and McKenzy Edmond all made the All-MHSAA Team
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
Three Vicksburg High School girls’ track and field athletes earned spots on the All-MHSAA 5A Team following a historic 2026 season.
Amiyah Hall, Zion Knox and McKenzy Edmond received the prestigious honors after each captured individual state championships earlier this month.
Hall claimed two state titles in the 100-meter and 200-meter races as she capped off her junior season as one of the fastest sprinters in Mississippi.
Knox earned her state championship in the triple jump, while Edmond secured a gold medal in the high jump to finish her standout season.
The trio was coached by Deatra Cable, who guided Vicksburg High to a top-five finish in the state this year.
