Some players shine at the plate. Others dominate on the mound. Keller Bradley spent the 2026 season doing both.

Whether he was delivering a key hit, scoring runs or striking out batters, Bradley consistently found ways to impact the game. His ability to lead in multiple facets of baseball helped separate him from a talented field of local athletes and earned him the title of Vicksburg Daily News 2026 Baseball Player of the Year.

The rising senior capped off another impressive season for St. Aloysius, continuing a steady climb that has made him one of the area’s top baseball players. For the second consecutive year, Bradley collected more than 30 hits while helping guide the Flashes to the postseason.

“This season went pretty good, and not just me but the whole team,” Bradley said. “Last year we won district so it was hard to come back from that, but we did a really good job.”

Bradley played a major role in St. Aloysius finishing with a 16-12 record. At the plate, he hit .398 with 37 hits, 15 RBIs and 38 runs scored. On the mound, he emerged as Warren County’s strikeout leader with 80 punchouts during the 2026 campaign.

“I controlled myself on the mound this year, plus I had more power this year and I hit two bombs,” Bradley said. “We lost some big arms last year so I knew I had to step up and be the guy this year.”

The season provided several memorable moments, including a home run against Prairie View Academy and helping the Flashes rally from an 8-0 deficit to defeat Central Hinds.

Bradley’s success did not go unnoticed. While earning recognition locally, he also attracted attention from college programs across Mississippi. He received six scholarship offers, including opportunities from Meridian Community College, Southwest Mississippi Community College and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

After weighing his options, Bradley recently committed to Jones College.

“Out of all the JUCOs, I connected with Coach Thigpen and I love the facilities,” Bradley said. “They made it to the World Series and I want to get there as well.”

His standout junior campaign concluded with All-State honors and his first selection as the Vicksburg Daily News Baseball Player of the Year.

“It’s an honor, especially as a junior because there’s a lot of great players between us, Warren Central and Vicksburg,” Bradley said. “I just feel honored to be named as the best player.”

As Bradley prepares for his senior season and eventual transition to the collegiate level, his journey serves as a reminder that leadership often comes from a willingness to embrace every challenge. When St. Aloysius needed a hitter, he delivered. When the Flashes needed an ace, he answered that call as well.

Bradley is the son of Trent Bradley and Laura Hallberg.
