Aaliyah Mims named Offensive MVP of MSA Prospect Bowl

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Aaliyah Mims, a Vicksburg native, has been named the Offensive Most Valuable Player in the Magnolia Sports Association Prospect Bowl. The flag football game was held at East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi.

Mims is a rising sophomore who stars at Vicksburg High School. This past season, she showed her athletic ability on both sides of the ball. One of her most notable games came in a 27-6 win against Greenville, where Mims caught touchdown passes of 55 and 40 yards.

Now that Mims’ freshman year is complete, she still has three years left to dominate at the varsity level.
