Vicksburg Police investigate infant’s death

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Vicksburg Police Department has an ongoing investigation in the death of an infant after officers responded to a call Thursday, June 25, during the afternoon.

According to reports, officers were dispatched at approximately 3:15 p.m., Thursday to the 4200 block of Frontage Road in Vicksburg, in reference to a call concerning a deceased infant.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the infant’s death remain under investigation.
