Man shot in the foot on Sunday morning

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

A man was shot in the foot during an early morning shots-fired incident outside Good Vibez on Washington Street, according to the Vicksburg Police Department.

Police said officers are investigating a report of shots fired that occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday outside Good Vibez, located at 2001 Washington St.

Preliminary information indicates one individual sustained a non-life-threatening injury to the foot. The victim was transported by personal vehicle to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further details were available.
