Merit Health welcomes Dr. Peddapanga

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Merit Health River Region welcomes Christine Peddapanga, D.O., to Merit Health Medical Group Family Medicine, where she will provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Peddapanga is a board-certified family medicine physician who is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and providing personalized, compassionate care. She offers preventive care, wellness exams, treatment for acute illnesses, management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and care for patients throughout every stage of life. She also provides women’s health services, routine screenings, and immunizations. 

In addition to primary care services, Dr. Peddapanga can screen for and treat common mental health conditions. She believes in caring for the whole person, body and mind, and works closely with patients to support both their physical and emotional well-being.

Dr. Peddapanga earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from The University of Southern Mississippi before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at SSM St. Anthony Family Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and most recently practiced family medicine in Morton, Mississippi. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
