Shirlene Skipper passed away on August 27, 2026 at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her children and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Montana McDaniel, Justin McDaniel, Julien Demby, Jaiden Demby, Sara McDaniel and Meg McDaniel.
She is survived by her sons Robert McDaniel (Kay), Ronnie McDaniel, daughter Shellye Demby (Marques), brothers Stanley McCullough (Billie Faye), Percy McCullough (Rose), sister Lola Lawerence (Jerry), grandchildren Montana McDaniel (Catherine), Justin McDaniel, Julien Demby, Jaiden Demby, Sara McDaniel, Meg McDaniel, and great-grandchildren, Mills McDaniel and Brooks McDaniel Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Harry Uzzle, Denise Stanley, Lisa Sheirs, Wayne McCullough, Jerry Lawernce, Scott McCullough, Joshua McCullough and Marie McCullough Cottle.

Skipper had several occupations over the years. She worked at Westinghouse, Tuminellou2019s restaurant, had a wallpaper installation business, and was a long time caregiver for several families. She was an excellent homemaker and decorator. She was an avid flower gardener and loved working in her yard. She was a fun loving person who loved spending time with her friends and family.
