St. Aloysius opened district play on a strong note Monday night, sweeping Hillcrest Christian in three sets.
District Victory for Lady Flashes
The Lady Flashes earned the district victory with set wins of 25-15, 25-8 and 25-17.
St. Aloysius received contributions from several players at the net. Camille Jeffers led the Lady Flashes with two kills, while Harper Hill, Lauren Flowers and Lexi Miller each recorded one.
Flowers led St. Aloysius from the service line with six aces. Addison Bednar and Hill each finished with five aces, while Morgan Tzotzolas and Piper Keyes added four apiece. Jeffers recorded three aces to go along with her two kills.
Key Performances in District Play
In other action, Warren Central fell to Forest High School in five sets, 23-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-10 and 9-15.
Alice Luna led the Lady Vikes with 20 points and four aces. Lauren Stamps followed with 19 points and three aces, while Audie Evans finished with 18 points and four aces.
Kennedy Smith recorded 16 points and three aces. Kylie Hearn added 10 points and one ace, while KeKe McKay finished with eight points and one ace. Addison Marshall scored six points, MK Ferguson added four points and Evella Fairley finished with one point.
