Theriot’s three-run homer lifts St. Aloysius past Washington School. VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN)—
A three-run home run by Megan Theriot helped lift the St. Aloysius softball team to a 9-7 win over Washington School on Tuesday.
St. Aloysius vs. Washington School Game Highlights
Presley Brister put the Lady Flashes on the board with an RBI in the first inning. Washington School responded with two runs to take a 2-1 lead after the first.
St. Aloysius took control in the second inning by scoring four runs. Theriot delivered a two-run single, while Kennadi Blassingame and Brister each added an RBI to give the Lady Flashes a 5-2 lead.
Washington School answered with a home run and two RBI singles to tie the game at 5-5 by the end of the second inning.

Three-run homer seals the win
Washington School scored two more runs in the fourth to take a 7-5 lead. St. Aloysius cut into the deficit in the fifth when Madison Connelly smashed an RBI double, making it 7-6.
Theriot delivered the biggest hit of the game in the sixth inning, blasting a three-run home run to put the Lady Flashes ahead 9-7 and cap the scoring.
Theriot finished 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs. Connelly went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI, while Lizzie McSherry, Presley Carr and Lynlee McMillin each recorded a hit. Brister finished with two RBIs, and Blassingame added one RBI.
