Missy Gators Sweep Leake Central Volleyball

Vicksburg High School’s volleyball team went on the road Tuesday night and came away with a sweep over Leake Central.

The Missy Gators’ varsity team won in straight sets, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-11, while the junior varsity team earned a two-set victory, 25-23 and 25-10.

Zipporah Drake helped lead the varsity effort with 15 points and 12 digs. Divine Tulloch finished with 14 points, 13 digs and two aces, while Alaina Williams added 12 points, 11 digs and one ace.

Zaria Jones contributed 12 points, seven digs, one ace and one kill.

Vicksburg’s junior varsity team also picked up a win, defeating Leake Central 25-23 and 25-10.

Madisyn Kimble led the JV effort with 14 points, 12 digs and one ace. Imani Kelly added eight points and nine digs, while Kamaya Watson finished with seven points and four digs.
