Chandler Dillard named Head Baseball Coach at Ridgeland High School
Former Vicksburg High School assistant baseball coach has been named the Head Coach at Ridgeland High School. The Titans announced on Tuesday that Chandler Dillard is their new head coach.

Chandler Dillard is a former Jackson State University outfielder from Madison, Mississippi. He graduated from Germantown High School in 2016 and went on to play baseball at Copiah-Lincoln Community College from 2016-2018. Dillard transferred to Jackson State University in the fall of 2018 and played three seasons with the Tigers from 2018-2021. He graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dillard was a 3-year starter in the outfield for the Tigers and in 2021 was named SWAC Preseason Player of the Year and Preseason 1st Team All-SWAC by Perfect Game. After the conclusion of the regular season in 2021 he was named to 1st Team All-SWAC.
In the fall of 2021, Dillard became an assistant baseball coach and teacher at Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, MS. In his first season as assistant coach he helped lead the team to go undefeated in district and earn their first District Championship since 2009. Dillard also helped coach the Vicksburg Gators to the 2nd round of the playoffs.
