Claiborne County Board of Supervisors recognized Members of the Port Gibson Middle School Football Team
Port Gibson, Miss.-The Claiborne County Board of Supervisors recognized members of the Port Gibson Middle School football team on Monday. Head Coach Jadice Moore, Assistant Coach Tyler Doss, and player Joheravious Norrell were all recognized for their role in the Future Elite All-Star Game where Team Black came out with a 28-20 win.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Claiborne County Board of Supervisors for recognizing us as participants and winners of the inaugural Magnolia Future Elite 8th Grade All-Star Game,” Coach Moore said in a post. “Special appreciation goes to Coach Jones and Coach Parker for their outstanding work with the PG Titans. The Titans are the cornerstone of both our middle school and high school football programs, laying the foundation for future success.”
“I would also like to acknowledge my dedicated staff, Coach Wendall Barnes, Coach Dee Hicks, and Coach Tyler Doss. Together, we are building something truly special. This recognition is a reminder that our hard work, dedication, and accomplishments have not gone unnoticed by our community and its leaders.”

Moore served as the defensive coordinator in the All-Star Game and Doss served as the linebackers coach. Norrell played on the line in the win.
Before being selected to the All-Star Game, Port Gibson Middle School recently wrapped up a 4-3 season where they fell short in the championship game.
