JACKSON, Miss. (VDN) — Entergy Mississippi has appointed three executives to oversee power plant operations, reliability, and business strategy. The leadership changes come as the company advances construction on a new power station in the Mississippi Delta.

The new executives are Lee Alexander, vice president of power plant operations; Kamisha Quates, vice president of reliability; and Jeremy Vanderloo, vice president of business operations and strategy. They bring more than 60 years of experience in utility operations, project management, system planning, environmental compliance, and regulatory affairs.

“Lee, Kamisha, and Jeremy bring valuable expertise to our leadership team,” said Haley Fisackerly, president and CEO of Entergy Mississippi. “As we transition with the construction of the Delta Blues Advanced Power Station and the retirement of the Gerald Andrus Steam Electric Station, Lee’s experience will be instrumental. Kamisha’s leadership will help strengthen our power reliability, and Jeremy’s strategic insight will support our continued growth.”

Alexander will oversee the company’s non-nuclear power generation fleet. Since joining Entergy in 1998, he has held roles as an operator, technician, maintenance supervisor, and senior manager of power station operations. He succeeds Demitrius Davis, now vice president of power plant operations for Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans.

Quates will oversee safety, engineering, asset planning, and emergency restoration for Entergy Mississippi’s transmission and distribution systems. She previously served as director of regulatory and strategic initiatives in system planning. Before Entergy, she worked for Southern Company in asset and environmental planning.

Vanderloo will lead business operations and strategy. He joined Entergy in 2009 as a legal counsel and later became vice president of regulatory affairs. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate, he served as a U.S. Marine Corps major before earning a law degree and MBA from Mississippi College.

The appointments come as Entergy Mississippi moves forward with infrastructure upgrades and leadership restructuring.
