VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — An altercation between two women in downtown Vicksburg on Fourth of July has drawn widespread attention after videos of the fight surfaced on social media this week.

The incident, which appeared to take place near the city’s iconic riverfront murals, occurred sometime after 9 p.m. during the city of Vicksburg’s Fourth of July fireworks display. In the video, which began circulating online Monday, the two women can be seen physically fighting while a small crowd gathered nearby.

The two women, identified as Candace Brooklyn Costilow and Shelby Ann White, were both arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct-City Ordinance, which is a misdemeanor.
