Flashes crushed Benton 78-10 on Friday

Vicksburg, Miss.-St. Aloysius High School boys’ basketball team improved to 3-2 on the year after crushing Benton Academy 78-10 on the Friday.

Three Flashes managed to score double digits as Carson Gleese led with 21 points on the night. Anthony McCloud had a double-double as he finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Carson Henderson added 14 points in the win. Carter Henderson and Dru Gleese both scored five points each while Walt Andrews and Sadler Lambiotte both added four points each.

Laken Bradley finished with three points and Tre Lee scored two points. St. Al also had a team total of 25 assists and 17 steals.

Junior High:

The Flashes won a tough 34-32 battle in overtime against Benton. Dru Gleese led with 19 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals. John Hossley scored nine points while Evan Mallard(12 rebounds), Adam Dorbeck(10 rebounds), and Patrick Southerland all scored two points.

The Flashes will travel to face the Mississippi School for the Deaf on Monday.
