Flashes grabbed a 53-49 win over East Rankin
St. Aloysius pulled off a close 53-49 win over East Rankin on Monday.
The Flashes took a 14-8 first quarter lead after a nice 3-pointer from Carson Gleese along with shots coming from Carson Henderson, Sadler Lambiotte, Carter Henderson, Laken Bradley and Korey Sims. Mason Harris knocked a shot in the second quarter as the score was tied at 20.
The third quarter was a complete success for the Flashes as Carson Henderson carried the team to a heavy lead as they went up 42-29. Sims came alive in the fourth quarter and dominated inside the paint while Walker Lambiotte Lambiotte got off a couple shots to help take home the win.
Carson Henderson ended the night with 16 points while Sims added 11. Gleese hit two 3-pointers and finished with eight while Walker Lambiotte contributed seven. Carter Henderson scored four points and Sadler added three while Harris and Bradley both scored two.
The Flashes will travel to play Tallulah Academy.
