VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Four Vicksburg High School football players have been selected to compete in the Magnolia Sports Association All-Star Game. Shaun Archer Jr., Abel Gonzalez, Corbin Walker and Deveyon Beard will represent the Gators in the annual showcase.

Archer and Gonzalez were chosen for the MSA Senior Bowl Game. Archer, an offensive lineman, has helped protect a quarterback who has thrown for more than 1,000 yards this season and paved the way for running backs who have combined for over 1,500 rushing yards in 2025. He currently holds offers from Clark Atlanta University, Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State.

Gonzalez, Vicksburg’s kicker, is coming off his best performance of the season after converting seven of eight extra-point attempts in a 55–6 win over Provine last week.

Beard and Walker will play in the Super Sophomore Elite Game. Walker, a cornerback, has recorded 14 tackles this season, while Beard, a defensive lineman, leads with 39 tackles.
