Fourth suspect arrested for a Vicksburg murder

A fourth arrest has been made in the Murder of 13-year-old Carleone Woodland. Woodland was shot and killed on January 31, 2023 in the 800 block of Speed Street. Two other juveniles sustained injuries stemming from the shooting. 19-year-old Koury Demichael Lawrence, 15-year-old Phillip Lewis Moore, Jr, and 15-year-old Demetrius Lee Cormier were each arrested and charged with Murder and three counts of Aggravated Assault at the time of the incident.

On January 19, 2024, 17-year-old Demarcus Quinterious Wilson was charged and arrested for Murder and three counts of Aggravated Assault. Wilson was arraigned by the Municipal Court Judge, Angela Carpenter who set his bond at $3.5 million. Wilson is bound over to the Warren County Grand jury.
