St. Aloysius boys’ basketball team bounced back from an earlier loss to Adams County Christian School as they secured a 63-50 win over on ACCS Friday.

“I’m so very proud of these young men,” St. Al Head Coach Walter Hallberg said. “We came out tonight and played the best defense we’ve played all year.” We rebounded the ball spectacularly, and we finished the game with 39 rebounds. If we continue to play this kind of basketball over the next few weeks we’re going to surprise some people in the postseason. “I just want to say a big thank you to our fans. We had a great crowd tonight and our students showed up and everyone was loud and engaged the whole game! It was a great night to be a Flash.”

Carson Gleese showed out all night and couldn’t be stopped as he hit four 3-pointers and finished with 30 points and seven rebounds. Carter Henderson had a double-double by finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony McCloud scored 11 points and snatched four rebounds and Carson Henderson added seven points on the board. Laken Bradley brought in four assists to go with his two points while Walt Andrews grabbed 10 rebounds and Sadler Lambiotte had five assists.
