Story from MGCCC Athletics:
PERKINSTON — For the third straight season, Mississippi Gulf Coast’s football team has produced two NJCAA All-Americans.
Trey Hall and JP Coulter were named to the Second Team, the NJCAA announced Monday.
Hall, a sophomore running back from Vicksburg, ran for 1,098 yards in 10 games. That ranked third in the country in yards per game. He had 13 rushing touchdowns, the second-most in the MACCC, and his 7.4 yards per carry tied the school record.
Coulter, a sophomore running back from Ocean Springs, led the Bulldogs with 48 catches for 860 yards. His 86.0 yards per game and 11 touchdowns are the second-most in the NJCAA, and his 17.9 yards per reception were best in the conference.
Since 1968, Gulf Coast has had 66 NJCAA All-Americans. Since Jack Wright became head coach in 2018, his teams have had nine All-Americans.
