Helen King Canizaro, 1934-2023

Helen King Canizaro passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was 89 years old.

Helen was born in Vicksburg, MS to the late J. C. and Aileen King. She worked for Merchants National Bank for 20-plus years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was a loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Debbie Beasley and a granddaughter Lindsay Price.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Edward Canizaro, Jr., daughters Jaa Allen (Dana), Brenda Price (Donnie), and Sandy Whitaker Doug), son-in-law Tommy Beasley, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home with Father Robert Dore Officiating.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. till the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
