Jeffery H. Jefferson 1947-2024

Sadly, Jeffrey H. Jefferson ( 77 ) died in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 03, 2024, after a prolonged struggle with prostate cancer. He was in hospice care at a Pasadena, California facility.

Jeffrey was a product of the Vicksburg public school system and graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After being a longtime Los Angeles, California Silverlake neighborhood resident, Jeffrey relocated to Maywood, California, in recent years.

He was predeceased by his parents, George L. Jefferson, Sr. and Grace H. Jefferson. And, Jeffrey is survived by his brother George Lee Jefferson, Jr. of Oceanside, California, his sister Grace Ellen Stoufer and nephew Ian Stoufer, both of Denver, Colorado, James E. Jefferson, Jr. of Vicksburg, Mississippi plus numerous other cousins.

A Memorial Service at the W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home will be scheduled for a date yet to be determined.
