Kennedy Smith led WC with 21 points on Monday

Kennedy Smith scored 21 points, leading Warren Central to a three-set victory over Vicksburg High School. The junior’s performance included 11 aces, helping secure the win as the team prepares for district play.

Kennedy Smith, a Warren Central High School volleyball player, led the Lady Vikes in scoring Monday night, helping WC earn a three-set victory over crosstown rival Vicksburg High School.

Smith finished with 21 points, including 11 aces, as Warren Central defeated Vicksburg 25-4, 25-14 and 25-10.

Smith is a junior for the Lady Vikes and plays under head coach Leighton Willoughby.

Warren Central will open district play Tuesday at home against Canton. The varsity match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
