Lady Flashes secured a 4-1 win over ACCS
St. Aloysius girls’ soccer team ended Tuesday night with a 4-1 win over Adams County Christian School. Just a few days ago the two teams tied 1-1 but the Lady Flashes pulled off the win tonight.
”We had a great finish tonight and they had plenty of confidence and we controlled the game by kicking the ball,” Head Coach Gio Baldizon said.
St. Al struck first with a penalty kick by Frances Ferrell. By halftime, the Lady Flashes maintained their 1-0 lead.
Less than two minutes into the second half, Mary Ruth Montgomery got the second goal of the night. Later on in the win, Samantha Edwards scored two goals, one from a PK. Elle Larson was credited with an assist and Sarah Smith finished with five saves.
The Lady Flashes will host Brookhaven next Tuesday.
