NATCHEZ, Miss. – A last-minute goal helped St. Aloysius end Wednesday night with a 1-1 tie against Adams County Christian School

ACCS got on the board within the first five minutes of the game to take the 1-0 lead over the Lady Flashes. Goalkeeper Sarah Smith managed to not allow the Lady Rebels to score again for the rest of the night. Within the last minute of the district game, ACCS got plenty of pressure from St. Al’s strikers and midfielders which helped Reese Lyons kick the ball back into the goal area. Elle Larson then put more pressure on the Rebels’ goalkeeper which allowed seventh-grader Lynlee McMillin to kick the ball in to tie things at 1-1.

The score was Lynlee’s first varsity goal and Smith also finished with six saves.

The Lady Flashes are led by Head Coach Gio Baldizon and they will host Manchester on Monday.
