Local Charities Claim First Prize in First Annual Cruzin’ on the River

VICKSBURG, Miss. – The 1st Annual Cruzin’ on the River Jeep & Classic Car Show was held this past Saturday at Blackburn Motors in Vicksburg. Fifty-three Jeeps, classic cars, and trucks came together to raise money for local charities.

Organizer’s for the event donated all proceeds to local charities in Vicksburg including Renewal House, SWAG Ministries, Beautiful Deliverance, and Serenity House.

The event was sponsored by Advanced Auto Parts, Automotive Paint Center, Belmont Gardens Recovery Center, Corner Pharmacy in Flora, Electro Mechanical Solutions (EMS), Ergon/Magnolia Marine, Golding Barge Lines, Mary Lirette Nurse Practitioner, Sam Brocatto Pest Control, Tony’s Grill & Seafood Market, Blackburn Motors, and Arc-Up Welding Inc.

The event included door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, vendors, music provided by a live DJ, and “Balance Challenge” for Jeeps participating in the event.
