Martha Louise Rowland: 1929-2025

MARSHFIELD, MO. — Martha Louise Rowland, 95, Marshfield, MO, formerly of Vicksburg, MS, daughter of Delano and Inez (Welch) Mellinger was born August 22, 1929 in Queen City, MO, and departed this life on June 16, 2025. 

Martha was united in marriage on November 1, 1947 to Robert Lowell Rowland and to this union five sons were born.

Martha was a faithful member of Kingdom Church of Marshfield. She loved to worship and listen to the word of the Lord. Martha always enjoyed her time spent with her family and friends. 

Martha was a member of the Eastern Star, and Daughters of The American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Rowland; sons, Robert and Terry Rowland; grandson, Jim Bob; granddaughter, Robin.

Martha is survived by her sons, James Rowland and wife Michele, Steven Rowland and wife Tina, and Gary Rowland; thirteen grandchildren, Marta, Joey, Bobby, Jeffery, Elizabeth, Christopher, Raymond, Jennifer, Angela, Nathan, Benjamin, Emma, and Evan; many great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Funeral services for Martha Louise Rowland will be held Monday June 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Church, Marshfield, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Rose Cemetery, Graysville, MO, under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, MO. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kingdom Church in care of the funeral home.
