Miss Mississippi Parade Set for June 9 in Downtown Vicksburg
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The 2025 Miss Mississippi Parade will roll through downtown Vicksburg on Monday, June 9, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Monday, June 9, parade kicks off a weeklong event culminating in the crowning of the next Miss Mississippi on June 14 where the current Miss Mississippi, Becky Williams, will crown her successor.
Community members are invited to cheer on the 2025 Miss Mississippi delegates, as well as local belles, beaus, princes and princesses, during an evening filled with fun, food and sparkles in the heart of downtown.
The parade is part of the annual festivities leading up to the Miss Mississippi Pageant, a long-standing tradition that has called Vicksburg home since 1958. The pageant is one of the most respected state competitions in the Miss America Organization and has produced four Miss Americas over the years.
Each summer, the pageant draws visitors from across Mississippi and beyond, contributing to the city’s economy and celebrating the achievements of young women who embody leadership and community service.
Organizers encourage anyone with a convertible — or anyone who knows someone with one — to join the parade and be a part of the celebration.
