Missing Simpson County woman found shot to death

According to WLBT, a Simpson County woman who had been reported missing was found shot to death on Christmas Eve.

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office told WLBT that a 30-year-old woman named Tazah Amethyst Hosey was reported missing by her dad on Saturday.

At 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve, deputies found a vehicle on Paul Kennedy Road just outside of Magee with her body inside with multiple gunshot wounds.

WLBT reports that the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this as a homicide.
