Two people shot in Jackson on Wednesday, police seek suspect

Police are still looking for a suspect after two people were shot in Jackson on Wednesday.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 1 p.m. in the 900 block of Metairie Road. The victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both people were taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for their injuries. At this point their conditions are unclear.
