Vicksburg High School’s Kennedy Mullins is now a tennis district champion after winning the girls singles on Friday.

Mullins, who also won the district championship last year, defeated Avery Hern(6-0,6-0) in the semifinals. She also took down Halle Montgomery(6-0,6-1) in the final round.

Kennedy will now move on to play in the state rounds at the Halls Ferry Park.
