National Night Out in Vicksburg Set for October 22

VICKSBURG, MS – The Vicksburg Police Department in partnership with the Vicksburg Housing Authority will host their annual National Night Out on Tuesday, October 22 at the Vicksburg Junior High School Football field from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer. The event brings together law enforcement, local organizations, and residents through block parties, festivals, and safety demonstrations. It aims to strengthen relationships, foster a sense of community, and raise awareness about crime prevention efforts across the U.S.

The event is free and open to the public.
