Speed Street Shooting: 3rd arrest, charged with Drive-By Shooting

VICKSBURG, MS – Corey Wilson, 23, of Vicksburg, appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, on a charge of Drive-By Shooting related to the October 1, 2024, incident near the intersection of Speed and Drummond Streets.

Judge Angela Carpenter set Wilson’s bond at $25,000 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Nicholas Clay, 29, of Vicksburg was taken into custody at the Police Department on Thursday, October 3, 2024, for his part in the October 1 Speed Street Shooting and charged with Aggravated Assault and Shooting into a Dwelling. Judge Lawson set his bond at S50,000 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Stuart Thomas, 24, of Vicksburg was taken into custody at the police department on Friday, October 11, 2024. Thomas was sought on a warrant for Tampering with Physical Evidence related to the shooting incident. Appearing before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, October 11, 2024, Thomas received a $30,000 bond and was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

One man was injured in that altercation.
