O’ Christmas Tree Home Tour to begin December 7

VICKSBURG, Miss. – The O’ Christmas Tree Home Tour, hosted by the Heritage Guild of Vicksburg and Warren County, will take place over the first two weekends in December. A total of twelve homes will be featured, with three homes featured each day. The first tour will be held December 7, 2024 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Following the success of last year’s tour, this year’s group of Vicksburg homeowners are honoring Mahala Roach’s tradition, who is known for having the first Christmas tree in the state of Mississippi.
“O’ Christmas Tree” features twelve architecturally iconic homes rarely open to the public. Each home will be on tour for one day only. Architecturally, the homes range from Tudor Revival to the Queen Anne style having been built from 1885 to 1970. All of the houses will be decorated for Christmas with the thoughtful, personal touch Mahala displayed in 1851.
Tickets are $25 each per day, with weekend and four day passes also available, and can be purchased here. Please note tour homes are NOT ADA accessible.
The Heritage Guild of Vicksburg and Warren County is composed of private individuals with like interests in preserving the cultural and structural heritage of Vicksburg and Warren County.
