One Dead after Apparent Suicide on Culkin Road Overpass

VICKSBURG, Miss. – An unidentified man has died after jumping off the Culkin Road overpass earlier today.

According to reports, just after 10 a.m. 911 received a call regarding an individual on the Culkin Road overpass who was believed to be suicidal. Two Warren County Sheriff’s deputies responded, and as the officers were blocking the lanes of traffic, the individual jumped.

The man was transported to River Region where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. No further information is available at this time.
