One dead in the Military Park

One person has died due to a suspected medical issue, which caused their vehicle to crash into a ditch located inside the Vicksburg Military Park.

Assistant Coroner Darly Carson has confirmed that the man most likely experienced a medical event that led to his death. The man, who was in his 70s and from Switzerland, was driving alone when the accident occurred.

Despite the fire medic unit’s attempts to revive him, he could not be resuscitated.
